Pinak Milk Foods Private Limited operates out of Plot No. F-6-B in the Pologround area of Indore. Pologround is known for being a bit of an industrial hub, so it is usually pretty noisy with machines and trucks throughout the day. We have been here for a while, managing the dairy side of things in this concrete building. Milk comes in early, often before the sun is even fully up, and that is when the floor is the busiest. The smell of fresh dairy is pretty much stuck in our clothes by the time we head home. We have got various tanks and cooling equipment set up across the plot to make sure everything stays at the right temperature. It is a lot of physical work, and the floors are often wet from cleaning down the equipment. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the registers and logbooks. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that because most people who come here are drivers or suppliers. Sometimes the power goes out in the area and we have to jump on the generators quickly to keep the milk from spoiling. It keeps us on our toes, but that is just how the dairy business works in a place like this. We just keep our heads down and get the milk processed so it can get to where it needs to go.
