Food Garage

Food Garage is our little spot in the GTB Complex over in T T Nagar. We are quite close to Rang Mahal and the New Market area, which is one of the busiest parts of Bhopal. The complex itself is always full of people going to different offices or shops. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Our space isn't huge, but we’ve tucked everything we need into it. The daily routine is pretty much the same: open the shutters, get the stove going, and start the prep. We don’t have a marketing person or anyone telling us how to talk to customers. We just speak to people like regular neighbors. Some days the lunch hour is so busy we can barely keep up with the dishes, but we get through it. T T Nagar has a specific energy to it, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping in New Market. We stay open until fairly late to catch that crowd. It is a lot of standing on our feet and dealing with the heat from the kitchen. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide food to people in the middle of a busy city. That’s about it for us. We just keep our heads down, watch the clock, and make sure the customers get what they ordered. It's just a regular Bhopal shop.
