We operate the Oriental Journal of Computer Science and Technology from our office at No. 10 Gulshan-E-Iqbal. It’s located in the New Maulana Azad Colony up in Idgah Hills. It’s a quiet enough area which helps because we do a lot of reading and reviewing here. We deal with research papers and technical articles all day long. It's not a big publishing house, just a dedicated team making sure the journal gets out on time. We look at work from students and professors from all over. The office is full of stacks of papers and old journals. Sometimes the computers are a bit slow, but we get the editing done. We’ve been doing this for several years now. Computer science changes so fast, it’s a lot to keep up with. We aren’t trying to be a massive media company. We just care about the quality of the technical stuff we publish. People send us their findings, and we spend our hours checking things and getting them ready for print or online. It’s a lot of sitting and focused work. Idgah Hills is a nice part of town, away from the main noise. We like the atmosphere here. It suits the kind of academic work we do. We’re just a small group of people who enjoy the tech world and publishing. We usually have a lot of tea and spend way too much time debating over commas and code snippets in the submissions we receive every month.
