Mgm Industries

We operate out of 34-G Sector in the Govindpura Industrial Area. It’s right off J.K Road. Mgm Industries is basically a big shed where we make things. It’s not much to look at from the outside, just a plain gate and some brickwork. Inside, though, we have a few production lines going. We mostly deal with industrial parts and fabrication. The air is always a bit heavy with the sound of the blowers and the hum of the motors. We have a small crew, mostly guys from the local neighborhood who have been with us for years. We start early, usually before the sun gets too hot, because the metal roof makes it warm inside by midday. Lunch is usually spent sitting on crates talking about the news or the cricket scores. We don’t have a marketing team or a sales department. Usually, someone calls the office phone, and I pick it up. We try to keep our machines running smooth, but things break, and we spend our weekends doing repairs. The yard is usually full of scrap and raw materials waiting to be used. It’s a bit of a mess, but it’s a productive mess. We’ve seen other shops in Govindpura come and go, but we’ve managed to stay steady by just focusing on what we know. It’s not glamorous work, but it pays the bills and keeps the guys employed.
