Mashrika Foods Products Private Limited is based out of 726 Usha Nagar. It’s a residential-turned-commercial area, so we are right in the thick of the community. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and provide food items that people actually use every day. Our space isn't huge, but we make the most of it. There are usually boxes stacked up near the door and the smell of whatever we are processing that day fills the air. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time on our feet, sorting through inventory and dealing with suppliers. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up on the desk, but we’d rather be on the floor getting things ready. We don't use big words or fancy slogans to describe what we do. We just make food products and sell them. The neighbors know us, and we try to keep the noise down when we're loading the vans early. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we are a private limited company on paper. We’ve had some long nights making sure we meet our deadlines, but that’s part of owning a business. We like the independence of it. We aren't some big chain; we are just a local outfit in Usha Nagar trying to do a decent job every day. It’s steady work and it keeps the lights on, which is all we really ask for at the end of the day. It is just life.
