You can find us on J. K. Road. It is a straightforward place where we handle engineering work. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance, just the shop where the machines are kept. Every morning we open up and start going through what needs to be fixed or built. The floor is usually covered in oil or metal shavings, which is just part of the job. We have a few lathes and some other gear that has seen plenty of use over the years. We keep them well-maintained though. J. K. Road can get pretty noisy with all the vehicles passing by, but we are used to it by now. The work we do is practical. We don't spend time on long meetings or fancy presentations. Usually, a customer comes in with a part that's broken or a drawing of something they need made, and we see what we can do. It’s a small team here. We all know each other’s habits. Lunch is usually eaten quick so we can get back to the machines. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how things go. We've been on this road for a long time and have seen a lot of businesses come and go. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task in front of us.
