Jai Ambe Engineering

You can find us at Shed No.17 in Block-A of the industrial area over in Govindpura. It’s a practical workspace, mostly filled with lathes and welding equipment. We started this engineering shop because there was a need for repair and fabrication work in this sector. It’s not a quiet place, as there is almost always someone cutting metal or grinding something down. We take on all sorts of mechanical jobs, from small parts to bigger frames that need fixing. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the day, but we clean it up every evening. Being in Sector-I means we are surrounded by other workshops, so we often help each other out with tools or advice. It’s a tight-knit community of workers here. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll find one of us in overalls covered in grease. We just look at the drawings people bring in and see if we can make it work. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend the morning fixing our own equipment before we can even start on the customer’s order. That’s just life in a machine shop. We do what we can with the tools we have, and usually, it turns out just fine. People know where we are. Our name is on the door and we just get on with it.
