T. N. Traders

We are over at 48 Near Aamwali Masjid in Jehangirabad and the street outside is always full of life. T. N. Traders has been operating from this building for quite some time now. You can hear the calls from the masjid throughout the day and it gives the place a specific rhythm. Our space is mostly filled with boxes and inventory stacked up toward the ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze to walk through if we have a big delivery coming in. The floor is concrete and has some cracks here and there from moving heavy stuff around. We have a small desk near the front door where we keep the ledger and a telephone that rings loudly. Jehangirabad is a crowded part of town so there is always someone walking past or a cart being pushed down the lane. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that blow the warm air around. The front shutter is painted blue but it is starting to rust at the bottom. We keep a light on in the back because it stays dark even during the day with all the boxes. It is a busy environment and we are usually on our feet moving things or checking the lists. We know the other traders on the street and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoon. It is just how we do things here.
