Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital Campus

The Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital Campus sits up in the IDGAH Hills. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but it makes the place feel a little more removed from the noise of the city. We are right near the Food and Drugs Office. The campus is fairly large, with different buildings connected by walkways. Because of what we do here, the atmosphere is usually pretty quiet. People come to us from all over because they have some tough things to deal with. We have doctors, nurses, and technicians all working together in these buildings. It’s not the kind of place you come to for a minor cold. The hallways are long, and sometimes you can get a bit lost if you aren't looking at the signs. Being in Idgah Hills means we have a bit more space than the clinics downtown. There are some trees around, which is nice when you need a moment of fresh air. We don't have a lot of shiny new decorations; we spend our time and resources on the medical stuff instead. The staff here is used to the heavy nature of the work. We just take it one day at a time, checking the schedules and making sure the equipment is ready. It’s a lot of responsibility, and everyone here knows that. We just show up, do our jobs, and try to make things as smooth as possible for the people visiting. We've been here for years, and the hill has become our second home.
