Goyal Ayurved & Harbals

We’ve been here at F-6 Sheetal Heights for a while now. Most days start the same way on Berasia Road, with the traffic picking up early and the noise coming through the windows. Sheetal Nagar is a busy little pocket of the city. Goyal Ayurved & Harbals is tucked into this building, and if you walk in, you’ll see shelves mostly filled with different roots, leaves, and powders. It stays a bit cool inside because of how the building is shaped. We spend a lot of our time just organizing the jars and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the dust gets on things, so there is a lot of wiping down shelves. People from around the Berasia Road area stop in, mostly just locals who know where we are. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we handle the herbal stocks. The light in the hallway at Sheetal Heights is a bit dim in the afternoons, but we keep our door open. We usually have a tea around four o’clock when things quiet down a bit. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes from the back to the front and checking the inventory lists against what’s actually on the shelves. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us making sure the orders go out and the shop stays stocked. It’s a simple routine, day in and day out, right here in the middle of the neighborhood.
