R. D. Memorial Ayurvedic Pg College & Hospital

Down in Barkhedi Kala, our building stands where we handle both the teaching side and the patients. R. D. Memorial Ayurvedic Pg College & Hospital stays busier than you might think from just looking at it. Upon walking in, the smell of different herbs being prepared or medicines being sorted usually hits you. You see a mix of students rushing to lectures and people waiting to see a doctor for their various aches. We keep the classrooms full of books on the old ways of healing, while trying to keep the hospital side as organized as we can. Perfection is hard to come by; sometimes the paperwork piles up or the hallways get cramped when it starts raining. Having been here for a good amount of time, we have seen many batches of students come and go. A lot of these students end up living in the area while they finish their studies. Local folks have been coming to the hospital for years, so it really feels like a community thing. Big displays aren't our style. We focus on getting the work done and making sure the students learn what they need. Mornings are the loudest time with everyone arriving at the same time. By the afternoon, things settle down enough for the staff to finally take a breather in the courtyard. This is just the way our days go, focusing on the people who come through our doors and the lessons we have to teach.
