Almadina Tea Co. sits right on Jumerati Road. It’s part of the Azad Market area. If you know the Peer Gate area, we are just a stone’s throw from there. It’s one of the busiest parts of the city. There is always noise from the market and the sound of scooters. Our shop is right in the middle of all that. We spend our days surrounded by tea sacks. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. The Azad Market is where everyone comes for their daily needs, so we see a lot of people. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we like the buzz. We’ve been on Jumerati Road for quite some time. The building is old and has a lot of character. We don't have fancy displays. We just show the tea for what it is. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise of the street to talk to customers. It’s just the way it goes here. Near Peer Gate, the traffic can be a nightmare, but you get used to it. We keep things straightforward. We weigh the tea, pack it up, and talk to whoever comes in. It’s a family-run kind of feel. We don't use big words or fancy marketing. We are just Almadina Tea Co. and we are here every day.
