Grover Namkeen

Grover Namkeen is our family shop in Bhiwani. We are located near Nehru Park and right opposite the Ghanta Ghar, so it is a very central place to be. We have been making namkeen and snacks here for a long time. The shop is small and mostly filled with glass jars and large plastic containers full of different snacks. There is no place to sit down because we use all the space for the products. It always smells like fried spices in here. We spend our days weighing out bags and chatting with the neighbors. The Ghanta Ghar is a busy spot so there is always something to look at out the front door. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It is just us behind the counter. We use the same recipes that have been around for years. Sometimes we get really busy before festivals and we have to stay up late packing everything into smaller bags. It is hard work being on your feet all day. We don't bother with fancy packaging or logos. We just use plain bags and a simple label. People in Bhiwani know who we are so we don't need to do much else. We just want to keep the jars full and the customers happy enough to come back next week. It is a simple life and we like it that way.
