Our company is called Baba Makhanpuri Maharaj Agro And Seedsproducer Company Limited. We are located right in the middle of the action at Naj Mandi in Loharu. You can find us at the office of Tarun Gupta, whose father is Harnayana. We are right near the Canara Bank, so it’s easy to spot if you are familiar with the market. Being in the Mandi means it is always noisy and there is always something going on with the farmers and the traders. We deal mostly with seeds and agricultural stuff. It’s a family-oriented kind of place, and we’ve known most of the people around here for years. We aren't trying to be some big national brand. We just want to provide the seeds that people in Loharu and the surrounding villages need for their crops. The office gets pretty dusty because of all the grain and movement outside, but we don't mind it much. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who come in from the fields to see what's new or what's working well this season. It is a simple life and the work is tied to the seasons. When it's planting time, we are busy from sunrise until way past dark. When things slow down, we sit around and have chai and talk about the weather. We don't have any grand plans, just keeping the business going and helping out the local growers when we can. It’s been our life for a long time.
