Ekal Automation Pvt. Ltd. is situated at Flat No-301 in Building No-4, Wing-A, on Thane Road in Kalher Village. It’s a bit unusual because we are in a residential-style building rather than a big glass office tower. Being in Kalher means we are slightly away from the main city crush, but the Thane Road is always packed with vehicles. We usually take the stairs instead of the lift because the lift is quite slow and sometimes gets stuck between floors. Inside the flat, we have turned the rooms into working spaces. The kitchen area is where we keep the fridge and the tea things. It feels more like a home than an office, which some of us actually prefer. We have a good view of the other buildings in the complex from our balcony. Sometimes we stand out there for a minute to get some air. The village of Kalher has changed a lot, with more buildings popping up every year. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us, but the rent is better here than in the center of Thane. We don't have any big corporate signs, just a small nameplate on the door. It’s a quiet place to get the technical work done without too many interruptions from the outside world. We just try to keep things running smoothly and stay on top of our daily tasks here.
