Rajendra Prestress Concrete Industries

Our place, Rajendra Prestress Concrete Industries, is set up in Phase 1 of the Riico Industrial Area. The specific address is A-117. If you’ve ever walked through an industrial zone, you know exactly what it’s like around here. It is loud, busy, and there is always something being moved around on a forklift. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The building itself has seen better days, with some chipped paint and a roof that occasionally leaks when the monsoon rain gets really heavy. But it works for what we need. Most of the work happens out in the yard where the concrete products get handled. It’s physically demanding work and we all go home tired at the end of the shift. There isn't a fancy reception area or anything like that. If someone visits, they usually just walk into the main bay and look for one of us. We spend a lot of time checking the equipment and making sure the supplies are coming in on time so we don't fall behind. The Riico area is a big maze of similar-looking units, but we are right there in Phase 1. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which can be a real pain, but we just wait it out or find something else to fix in the meantime. It is a very hands-on business. No one here wears a suit. We are usually in old work clothes covered in a bit of grey dust. That’s just the nature of working with concrete in an industrial estate like this.
