Mahalaxmi Marbles

Our place, Mahalaxmi Marbles, is tucked away in Ramseen Village. If you know the Jalore District, you probably know the Jaswantpura Tehsil area. We are right on Ramseen Road, which gets quite a bit of traffic with all the stone being moved around. It is a quiet village for the most part, but our yard stays pretty busy with the slabs coming in and out. The sun beats down on the stone all day, and it can get quite bright out there. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing our thing. The local roads are okay, but you have to watch out for the tractors. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that, just the office and the space where the marble sits. Sometimes neighbors stop by for tea, and we talk about the harvest or the weather. It is a slow life but the work is steady. We handle the slabs and make sure they are loaded up right on the trucks. Most of the people around here know us by now. It’s just how things are in a small village like Ramseen. You wake up early, get the gates open, and see what the day brings. The dust is just part of the job, and we don't mind it much anymore. It is just a regular spot for regular work, and we like it that way. We don't bother with much else.
