Choudhary Marble

We are situated at the Teen Rasta on Bishunpura Road. If you know the area, we are the ones right near the Bishunpura Bus Stop. It’s a handy location because the buses stop just a few steps away, so there are always people walking past Choudhary Marble. The intersection gets quite busy with tractors and local transport. Our yard is filled with slabs of marble that we’ve brought in over the months. It’s a bit of a rough-and-tumble place. We don't have a big showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. Most of our work happens outside or under a simple overhang. We spend the mornings unloading trucks and the afternoons talking to contractors. Sometimes the local kids hang around the bus stop and we have to tell them to stay away from the heavy stones. It's a regular local business. We’ve been part of this community for a while, and people know they can find us at the three-way junction. The work is physical and tiring, but we like being in the middle of things. You get a lot of dust from the road, especially in the dry season, so everything has a bit of a grey tint. But the marble underneath is still good. We just do our job and go home to our families.
