Classic Computers is right opposite the State Bank of India on Steamer Road at Door No. 7-1-51. Being right across from the bank makes us easy to find, which is good because Steamer Road can get pretty crowded. We’ve been here for quite some time, fixing computers and helping people with their tech problems. The shop is often a bit cluttered with parts, cables, and old monitors. We try to keep it tidy, but when you’re busy repairing things, stuff tends to pile up. It’s just the two or three of us working most days. We don’t have any big corporate goals. We just like taking things apart and putting them back together so they work again. Sometimes a repair is easy, and other times it takes us all day to figure out what’s wrong. We’re honest with people about what can be fixed and what’s probably not worth the money. Steamer Road has a lot of energy, and we like being part of it. We get all sorts of customers coming through the door. Some just need a new mouse, while others have a laptop that won’t turn on at all. We just take it as it comes. It’s a steady way to spend the day, and we’ve built up some good relationships with the locals over the years.
