Youngster City

We started Youngster City because we wanted a spot in Shastri Nagar where folks could just hang out without a lot of fuss. Being right there by the Surya Mahal Hotel in Bhilwara, we get a lot of people passing through. It's not a fancy place, just somewhere to sit down and have something to eat. We’ve been here for a while now and most of the regulars are just local kids and families from around the neighborhood. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the groups come in after school or work, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep things simple. The kitchen isn't huge, but we manage. People know where to find us. If you’re walking past Surya Mahal, you’ll see our door. The chairs aren't the newest and the floor might have a scuff or two, but it’s clean enough. We don't spend much on ads or anything like that. Word of mouth usually does the job for us. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us working the shifts. We make what we know how to make and hope it’s what people are looking for that day. Bhilwara is a busy town, especially this part of Shastri Nagar, so there’s always something going on outside. Inside, we just do our thing. We don't have a big grand plan, we just open up every morning and see who comes in. That’s pretty much the whole story of Youngster City. We hope to stay here for many more years.
