Talent Point

Talent Point is situated right by B.M. Public School, not too far from the Chhabila Hanuman Ji Mandir. You’ll find us in a small space where we spend our days helping students with their lessons. This isn't a big center with fancy equipment; it’s just a few rooms with tables and chairs. Most of the time it’s quiet here, though you can hear the sounds from the school next door or the temple bells. We opened this because local kids needed a bit of extra help outside of their classes. Usually, it's just us sitting down with books and going over things until they finally make sense. We have some old posters on the walls about math and science that have been there for years. The chairs aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy when the summer heat hits, but we just keep working through it. We don't have a big staff or any corporate rules. It is just a simple setup for the neighborhood. A lot of different students come through these doors, and we try to treat them all the same. Much of our time is spent marking papers and checking homework. It is a steady life and we like being part of the community near the Mandir. We aren't trying to do anything grand, just helping out where we can so the kids can pass their exams and move on.
