Subh Laxmi Tex Trade Pvt. Ltd. is on the second floor of the Bhilwara Textile Market, located at 267 in the D-extn area. Being inside a dedicated textile market like this means we are surrounded by the trade all day long. It is a very busy and loud environment. There are always people carrying heavy bundles of cloth up and down the narrow stairs. Our office space is not very large, but it is packed full of fabric samples and big ledgers. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or talking to the different people who drop by the office. It is a practical workspace meant for trading and coordinating shipments. We do not have a lot of extra stuff here. It is mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of fabric samples everywhere you look. The light in the market can be a bit dim some days, but we have our own lamps so we can see the cloth colors clearly. We have been part of this market for a while now. Everyone knows everyone else in the D-extn section. It is a tight community of traders. We handle the business side of things, making sure the right textiles get to the right people at the right time. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important work for the garment industry. We show up every morning, have some tea, and get to work on whatever orders are pending. That is how we operate.
