Anurag Tailor

Over here at Anurag Tailor in Bhilwara, we spend most of our time behind the machines. Our shop is at A 389 in Sanjay Colony. It’s a place filled with threads, needles, and piles of cloth waiting to be cut. You can hear the sound of the sewing machines going all day long. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a productive one. We’ve been in Sanjay Colony for a while now, and most of the people nearby know where A 389 is. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, there are fabric scraps on the floor and measuring tapes hanging around our necks. We work on whatever comes in, whether it’s a simple repair or something more complicated. The light in the shop isn't the best in the evenings, so we have a few extra bulbs hanging up. Sometimes we get very busy before festivals and we have to stay late to finish everything. We don't really have a website or a social media page. We just do the work and people come back when it’s ready. Bhilwara is a place where people appreciate good work, and we try to keep up with that. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit cluttered, but we manage to find what we need. It's just us doing what we know how to do, day after day, in our corner of the colony. We make sure everyone gets their clothes on time.
