Rekha General Store

You can find Rekha General Store over on Pur Road in the Naya Bazar area. We’ve been here for a bit, selling all the basic things you’d expect from a neighborhood general store. We’ve got snacks, toiletries, household items, and the stuff people realize they ran out of at the last minute. Naya Bazar is always a bit hectic, which keeps things interesting for us. The shop isn’t huge, so we have to stack things pretty high to fit everything in. It’s not a supermarket; it’s just a local place where you can grab what you need and go. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle with the traffic on Pur Road, so our stock changes a little from week to week. We don’t do anything special, just show up, open the shutters, and wait for the customers. It’s nice seeing the same people every day coming in for their milk or a pack of biscuits. We try to stay organized, but with so many small items, it can get a bit cluttered behind the counter. That’s just the way it goes when you’re running a busy little store. We’re just regular people trying to provide a helpful service to the folks around Naya Bazar. It’s honest work and we’re happy to be here. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to complain about the heat, and we agree while handing them a cold bottle of water. It's a small community and we enjoy being right in the middle of it all.
