The Benny Suitings

We are down in the basement at number 44, Siddhi Plaza. It's right on Pur Road, across from the railway station. You can hear the trains blowing their whistles all day long. It's a bit of a climb down the stairs, and the light isn't always great, but we have plenty of suitings to look at. We have been here for a long time. My father started this business, and I took over when he couldn't do it anymore. We have rolls of fabric from all over. Some of them have been on the shelves for a few years, but the cloth is still good. We mostly sell the material and then people take it to their own tailors. I know a few good ones nearby if anyone asks. The shop is a bit dusty because of the construction on the road outside. I try to wipe the counters down every morning. Sometimes the basement gets a bit damp when it rains heavily, so we have to move the rolls to the higher shelves. It’s a lot of lifting. I’m not as young as I used to be, so it takes me a bit longer now. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. If you want to see what we have, you just have to come down and see us. We're here every day except Sunday.
