We are over at No. 43 in the Murli Textile Tower. It is right on Pur Road. Most days it is pretty loud because of the traffic outside and the other shops in the building. Our spot isn’t very big but it fits what we need for the Merakapda business. We spend a lot of time checking rolls of fabric and talking to people who come by. The elevator in the tower works when it wants to, so we usually take the stairs to get things moving faster. It’s a busy area and the dust from the road gets everywhere if we leave the windows open too long. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, but it doesn't bother us much. We have been here a while now. Some of us start early, around eight, to get a head start before the heat really kicks in. It is mostly just us working through the piles of orders and making sure things get sent out to where they are going. There isn’t much fancy about it. We have a small desk near the back where the paperwork happens. Sometimes the tea guy comes around and that is the best part of the afternoon. Pur Road is always moving, trucks and rickshaws mostly. We just keep doing our thing here at No. 43. It is a lot of folding and packing and making sure the labels are right. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name on the door.
