Maharaja Trading

Our spot is on Mahila Ashram Road in Godawari Nagar, and if you know the area, you know it can get pretty hectic with the traffic. Maharaja Trading isn't a huge operation, mostly just us dealing with orders and making sure things get where they need to go. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists to see what’s come in and what’s heading out the door. The office is usually full of papers and maybe a few empty chai cups because there is always something to do. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who have been working together for a while now. Some mornings are slow and we just sit and talk about the news, but then everything happens at once and we’re rushing to get the loading done. Godawari Nagar is a decent place to work, even if the road gets a bit messy when it rains. We focus on the day-to-day stuff, making sure the inventory is right and that we aren't losing track of anything important. It’s straightforward work, nothing too complicated, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, so it feels like a community here. We just show up, do the job, and hope the trucks don't get stuck in traffic too long. It’s just a normal trading business where we try to keep things moving along without too much fuss or worry.
