Maha Nandini Turning Point

Our place is in Bhilwara, located near the Harani Mahadev Temple. It’s a bit of a landmark area, so people find us easily enough. We call it a turning point because of where it sits on the road. It’s a simple spot where travelers and locals stop for a bit of a break. We don’t have fancy menus or expensive silverware. It’s more of a place where you can get a quick meal or a snack while you’re out. We see a lot of people who are visiting the temple, and they often come in looking for something simple to eat. The heat in Bhilwara can be quite something in the summer, so we try to keep the place as cool as we can. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We all chip in with the cooking and cleaning. There’s always something that needs doing, whether it’s wiping down the tables or checking the stock. We don’t follow any big corporate rules. We just do what makes sense for the day. Sometimes the road outside is dusty and noisy, but inside we just focus on the orders. It’s been our livelihood for a while now. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. We just keep the stove going and wait for the next customer to walk in. It is a lot of work but it keeps us going.
