If you go down to Sadar Bazar in Kotri, you’ll find us at Shop No.1333. We are right near the old bus stand, which is a very busy part of town. Lalit Kumar Dheeraj Kumar Kirana Store is a place where we sell all kinds of grocery items. Since we are near the bus stand, there are always people rushing around, getting off buses or waiting for one. Our shop is usually full of sacks and crates. It’s a bit cramped inside, but we make it work. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so most of the regulars know us. We don't have any fancy displays. We just have the goods stacked up so people can see what we have. Running a kirana store means you have to be there from early morning until late at night. We spend a lot of time weighing out lentils, sugar, and flour. It’s manual work and can be quite tiring on the back. Sometimes it gets so busy we barely have time to sit down for a meal. The noise from the buses and the market is something we don't even notice anymore. It's just part of the day. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just provide what people need for their homes. If someone comes in, we help them find their items and that’s it. It’s a plain and simple business here in Kotri.
