Kartik Traders

We've been sitting here in Apsara Complex for quite some time now. If you know Azad Chowk, you know how it gets with all the noise and the people moving around near Station Road. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we keep our stuff and try to keep things organized. Usually, I get here around nine in the morning, maybe a bit later if the traffic on Station Road is bad, which it often is. Kartik Traders is just me and a couple of other guys helping out. We spend most of our day moving boxes or answering the phone when it rings. It’s a lot of work but we stay busy. Some days the fan in the corner makes this weird clicking sound that drives me crazy, but you get used to it after a while. People come in from the street, sometimes just to ask for directions because the complex can be a bit confusing with all the different turns. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door. It’s dusty most days because of the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. Most of our neighbors are okay, we share tea sometimes in the afternoons when things slow down. It’s just a normal business doing what we do every day without much fuss. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years and we just keep at it.
