J.K. Cement Works

You will find us in Bhilwara at B-252 in the R.K. Colony. We work out of the space associated with Mr. A.K. Purohit, and it serves as our local base for J.K. Cement Works in this part of Rajasthan. Bhilwara is a major industrial hub, so being here puts us right in the middle of all the action. Our office is a very practical one. We do not have any polished floors or expensive signs on the wall. It is just a place where we manage the local cement distribution. Rajasthan can get extremely hot, so we spend most of the afternoon under the fans, working through our paper ledgers and delivery notes. We handle the logistics and the sales for this whole region. A lot of our day is spent on the telephone or meeting with people who are building new factories or homes. We do not use any marketing tricks or fancy sales talk. If we have the cement in stock, we tell you. If there is a problem at the works, we are honest about it. People in Bhilwara appreciate that kind of directness. We have been in R.K. Colony for a while now and we have gotten to know the neighborhood and the local business owners quite well. We are just regular people doing a job. We do not have a mission statement; we just have a to-do list and a commitment to getting things done.
