Gayatri Computer

We started Gayatri Computer in Javahar Nagar because we noticed a lot of people in the neighborhood were struggling with their laptops and PCs. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a small sign and a door. Inside, there are parts and wires everywhere because we are always in the middle of a repair. We fix broken screens, slow software, and motherboards that have seen better days. Sometimes the repairs take longer than we hope because we have to wait for a specific part to arrive from the city. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a circuit board. Most of our day is spent staring at screens or using tiny screwdrivers. The air conditioner in the shop is a bit loud, but it keeps the machines from overheating. People from Javahar Nagar come to us when they cannot get their internet to work or when their kids spill something on a keyboard. We try to be honest about whether something is worth fixing or if it is just trash. We do not use fancy terms to explain what is wrong; we just show you the part that isn't working. It is a messy, busy place, but we like the challenge of figuring out why a machine stopped running. Sometimes we stay late to finish a backup for a student or a local worker who needs their computer back by morning.
