If you walk through Gulmandi into the Sarafa Bazar, you’ll find our shop. It’s right in the heart of the jewelry market where everyone is shouting and moving around. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, selling gems and jewelry to people from all over the area. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve packed it with everything we need. Most of the day is spent talking to folks who come in looking for something specific. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us behind the counter. The air in Sarafa Bazar always feels a bit heavy with the history of all the shops here. We like the tradition of it. Sometimes it gets so crowded in the bazar that you can barely move, but that’s just how market life is. We keep our displays simple and let the items speak for themselves. We aren't interested in being the flashiest shop on the block. We just want to do honest business and help people find what they’re looking for. Usually, we have tea brought in from the stall nearby and spend our afternoons chatting with the other shopkeepers when things are quiet. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know. Gulmandi has its own energy and we are glad to be a small part of it.
