Deepak Provision Store sits right here on Shastri Nagar Bhopalpura Choraya Road. It’s been a good while since we opened up. Most days start pretty early because people around here need their milk and bread before heading to work or sending kids to school. We keep all kinds of things on the shelves, from big bags of flour and rice to those little packets of spices you always forget to buy until you're cooking. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the space. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when the delivery trucks arrive at the same time customers are coming in, but we manage. You’ll find us mostly behind the counter, weighing things out or just chatting with the regulars who live in the neighborhood. The traffic on Choraya Road can get pretty loud in the afternoons, but you get used to it after a few years. We try to keep everything stocked so people don't have to go far for their daily needs. Some items move fast, like the snacks and cold drinks during summer, while other things sit on the top shelf for a bit longer. It's just a regular local shop where we know most faces. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. Just solid shelves and a ledger where we track what’s coming in. It’s hard work, standing all day, but it’s what we do here in Shastri Nagar and it keeps us busy enough.
