Amit Trading Co is based in Bazar No 3 on Pur Road. If you've ever been to Bazar No 3, you know it is a maze of shops and people. We are right in the middle of all that action. Our shop is mostly a place for business, filled with ledgers and stacks of goods. We don't really have a 'decor' to speak of, just shelves and a sturdy counter. It’s a practical environment. We deal with a lot of different traders and local customers who are looking for specific items in bulk or for their own use. The air in the bazar is always full of the smell of street food and the sound of horns. We usually have a cup of tea on the desk while we go through the day's receipts. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We don't spend money on big ads or trying to look more important than we are. We are just a trading company trying to get the right products to the right people. Sometimes the logistics are a headache, especially when the bazar gets crowded and the delivery vans can't get through. But we manage. We’ve been here at Pur Road Bazar No 3 for a long time, and we've seen many shops come and go. We just keep our heads down and keep working through the piles of stock.
