Alex Computers Sale & Service Center

Our shop is at 1B/15 in the Old Housing Board area of Shastri Nagar. It’s a small corner where we fix laptops and sell some computer parts. Alex Computers Sale & Service Center is the name on the board outside, though the paint is starting to peel a bit. If you walk in, you’ll see a lot of wires and open computer towers all over the workbench. It’s a bit of a mess, but that’s how we know where the tools are. We get people coming in with broken screens or machines that won't turn on. Some days we spend hours just trying to find one tiny screw that fell on the floor. Shastri Nagar is a busy neighborhood, so there is always someone walking by or popping their head in to ask a question. We have a small fan that runs all day to keep the heat off the electronics. It’s mostly just me and a helper here. We don’t have a fancy waiting room, just a bench outside the door. Sometimes we have to tell people their old computers aren't worth fixing, which is never fun. We stay open pretty late most nights because that's when people realize their stuff is broken. It’s a steady kind of work and we’ve been in this same spot for a good while now. The housing board buildings all look the same, but everyone knows where the computer shop is.
