Ahmed Provision Store

Ahmed Provision Store is tucked away in Sunar Ki Gali, right in the Nagori Garden area. It’s one of those old-school shops where you can find almost anything for your daily cooking. We’ve got grains, pulses, soaps, and those small packets of biscuits the kids like. The lane is narrow, so it feels very local and tucked away from the main road noise. We know almost everyone who walks through the door. It’s been a family-run thing for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. We wake up, open the shutters, and start weighing out portions of flour or sugar for the customers. It’s a lot of manual work, using the scales and bagging things up. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, so we often have to use a small ladder to reach the top. It’s not a supermarket where you pick things yourself; you usually just tell us what you need and we get it for you. We don't have air conditioning or fancy displays. It’s just a functional space with a lot of history in the walls. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s quiet and chat with the neighbors. It’s a slow-paced life, but it keeps us connected to the community here. Just a simple provision store trying to supply the basics to the families in Nagori Garden. We hope to stay here for many more years as long as people need their supplies.
