A B Impex

A B Impex is run by Ajay Somani, and we are based out of Bhilwara. The address is B 348 on Devriya Balaji Road, which is part of the Sanjay Colony. My father, Kailash Chandra Somani, started things off and I’ve been keeping it going. Bhilwara is a big place for textiles and industry, so we stay pretty active in the import and export side of things. We don't have a huge warehouse or anything, just a solid space where we manage the logistics and the paperwork. Most of my day is spent on the phone or checking emails to see where the containers are. It’s a lot of waiting followed by a lot of rushing around. Sanjay Colony is a good area but the roads get dusty when the wind picks up. We have a small team here helping with the accounts and the shipping documents. We aren't some big global firm with offices everywhere. It’s just a local business trying to make sure the goods get from the factories here to where they need to go. Sometimes there are delays at the ports or issues with the trucks, which is just part of the job. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just about moving products and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month.
