Maitri Education And Cultural Association

We are located over in Sector 1 of Bhilai, specifically at Quarter Number 3 D on Street 27. If you know the area, you know it’s a typical residential part of the township. Our association has been using this space to bring people together for a long time. It’s a mix of an office and a classroom, really. We have some old benches, a whiteboard that’s a bit stained, and stacks of books tucked into every corner. During the day, it’s usually quiet, but in the afternoons and evenings, the place fills up with people. We do various things like small classes or planning local events. The neighbors are used to the noise by now. Being in Dist Durg means we get a lot of local folks from all walks of life. The building itself is older, one of those sturdy government-style quarters, so it stays fairly cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have any fancy staff or big budgets. It’s mostly just a few of us who live nearby and want to keep things running. We spend a lot of time sitting around the main table talking about what needs to be done next. Sometimes we have tea and snacks while we work on the schedule. It isn’t a polished organization, just a group of people trying to do something useful in our little corner of Chhattisgarh. It’s a bit messy, but it works for us and the people who visit.
