Acc Cement

We’ve been set up here at Room No 09 inside the Mt Hostel for a while now. If you know the Jamul area in Durg, you know it’s mostly about the industry and the big plants around here. Acc Cement is just part of the landscape in this part of Chhattisgarh. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we handle the day-to-day stuff. Most days it’s pretty quiet until the transport guys show up or someone from the hostel stops by to ask a question. The walls are a bit plain and we’ve got a few old files stacked up in the corner, but it works for what we need. Living and working in Jamul means getting used to a bit of dust and the sound of heavy machinery in the distance. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People usually just knock on the door and walk in. It’s a tight-knit community here and everyone knows where the MT Hostel is. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon heat and we just sit outside for a bit. It’s just how things go. We’ve got our routine down and we don’t really try to change it much. If you’re looking for us, just head toward the hostel and look for our door. It’s usually open during the day unless we’ve stepped out for a quick tea at the stall down the road.
