Brundawan Agro Fields

Started this place in Ramsagar Para a while back. It is right off the N.H.- 21. If you are driving down from Kalahandi you will see the signs easily enough. Most days it is just us out here in the fields checking on the crops and making sure things are growing like they should. The dirt gets everywhere, especially when the wind picks up off the highway. We have been working this land for a long time now. People stop by sometimes asking for advice on their own plots or just to see what we are planting this season. It gets really hot in the afternoons so we usually take a break under the big tree near the entrance. It’s not a fancy setup. Just some sheds and the fields stretching out. My brother helps with the tractor work and I handle the seeds and the paperwork when I have to. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it's supposed to and we just have to wait it out. That's just how it goes with farming. You learn to be patient. We keep a small office near the front gate where we keep the logs. It stays pretty dusty because of the trucks passing by on the main road. If you come by looking for us and nobody is in the office we are probably out back near the irrigation lines fixing a pipe or something like that. I usually wear my old boots because the ground is uneven and full of rocks.
