Yam Marine Trade

Our business, Yam Marine Trade, is located on Moti Talav Road. This area has a very specific feel to it, being near the water and the old parts of the district. Our shop is a practical space where we keep all kinds of marine supplies. You will find things like heavy ropes, anchors, and various metal fittings stacked on the shelves. It’s not a large place, so we have to use every inch of space we have. There’s a certain smell of grease and salt that you notice as soon as you walk in. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The floor is just plain cement and the shelves are made of sturdy metal. We spend a lot of time helping people find specific parts that are hard to get elsewhere. The road outside can get quite busy with all sorts of transport. We have been here for a long while and have seen many changes in the neighborhood. Our customers are mostly people who work on the water or in related trades. We don't do any big advertising; people usually just know we are here on Moti Talav Road. We keep a handwritten ledger of our sales and spend the afternoons checking through our boxes of parts. It’s a slow and steady kind of work. We just focus on having what people need and giving them a fair price without any corporate talk.
