Umiya Plastic

Umiya Plastic is based out of Plot No 14/10 in the Chitra Gidc area. This part of town is always busy with trucks and people moving goods from one place to another. Our unit is just a regular industrial space. We have the molding machines set up in the main area and a small desk for the bills and files. The floor is concrete and has some cracks from years of heavy use. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear your nice shoes. We spend the day monitoring the temperature of the machines and making sure the output is looking okay. It gets loud, so we have to shout a bit to be heard over the hum. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the other business owners on this street. We share news about the local power cuts or the water supply. It’s a tight-knit community in its own way. We don't have a big corporate structure or managers. It’s just us working and making sure we meet the daily targets. Sometimes the raw material doesn't show up on time, and we have to scramble to find a solution. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small unit in Gidc. We don’t bother with fancy brochures or marketing talk. If someone needs plastic parts, they find us. We just focus on the work in front of us and try to keep everything running smooth.
