Tech Marine Suppliers Inc. India is based out of Plot No. 90 in Vidhya Nagar Society. We’re near the SBS Bank and the Bhav Nager Clinic, so it’s a fairly easy spot to find if you know the neighborhood. Being in Bhavnagar, we’re close to a lot of the ship-breaking and marine activity that happens in this part of Gujarat. We spend our time sourcing parts and supplies for people in the industry. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking inventory in the back. The office isn't anything special, just a few desks and a lot of catalogs. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three people are asking for different things at the same time. We try to keep a good stock of the basics, but sometimes we have to go hunting for the rarer items that ships need. Our neighbors know us well, and we’ve been in this building for a long time. It’s a bit of a walk to get to some of the docks, but we’re used to it. The dust from the road comes in through the windows if we leave them open, which we usually do for the breeze. We just get on with it. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because it means we actually know what’s going on with every order. No corporate layers here, just us and the supplies we keep in the back. We try to stay organized even when things get busy.
