Our office is situated in Vora Bazar, right opposite the Jain Temple. You have to come up to the second floor to find us. Being across from the temple means we hear the bells and the chanting quite clearly during the day. It’s actually quite a nice background sound to work to. Vora Bazar is a very old and traditional market area. The streets are narrow and usually filled with scooters and people walking. Our floor is a bit of a climb, but it gets us away from the immediate dust of the street. The rooms are quite tall with old-style windows that let in a lot of breeze when we open them. We have several desks pushed together and lots of boxes stacked up against the walls. It’s an export business, so there is always a lot of packing and labeling going on. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room. Usually, if someone comes by, they just find us at our desks. The floorboards creak a little when you walk on them. It’s an honest sort of place. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now, so we know the other tenants well. Sometimes we share a meal or a coffee in the afternoon. It’s a busy life, keeping track of shipments and paperwork, but we enjoy the routine of the bazar.
