Vinita Sarees

Vinita Sarees is located at No. 20 in the Shri S.S. Jain Market. We are in the Sthanak Building at 24/25 M.P. Lane, right near the A.M. Lane Cross. This part of the city is always packed with people looking for cloth and good deals. Our shop is one of many in the lane, but we have our own way of doing things. We don’t have fancy mannequins or bright spotlights to show off the goods. Instead, we have stacks and stacks of sarees reaching all the way to the ceiling in every color. The air always has that specific smell of new fabric and starch that you get in textile markets. We spend our days unfolding colorful lengths of silk and cotton for customers who come in to browse. It’s a noisy environment with people haggling outside and the sound of carts being pushed over the uneven ground. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons when things quiet down a little. It can get very crowded inside the shop, especially during the wedding season, and it gets quite warm with so many people in a small space. We just try to help people find what they are looking for without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been in the market for a long time, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we just stay here and keep the shelves full for our regulars.
