Our factory is located at Plot No 344/2 in the Chitra Gidc area. If you know this part of town, you know it is almost entirely made up of warehouses and workshops. We work with polyfil here, which means there are always large bags of material and machines running from morning to night. It is not the cleanest environment to work in, but it provides a steady living for everyone here. We spend most of the shift watching the production lines to make sure everything is flowing smoothly. Sometimes the power cuts out unexpectedly, and we all have to sit around and wait for it to come back. That is just part of life in an industrial zone. We have a small crew, and most of us have lived in this neighborhood for a long time. We aren't trying to become some massive corporation. We just want to make sure the products we send out are what the customers asked for. The floor gets covered in tiny scraps of plastic, so we have to do a major cleanup every evening before we head home. It is repetitive work, but we have gotten used to the rhythm. The machinery makes so much noise that we have to yell just to be heard. We have a little table in the back for lunch. It is very simple, and there is nothing flashy about it. Sanghvi Polyfil just handles things one day at a time.
