Murtuza Exports is located right in the middle of Lokhand Bazaar. If you’ve ever been down here, you know how it is. It’s noisy, dusty, and there’s always the sound of metal being moved around. It’s a tough place to work but it’s where all the action is. We’ve been in the bazaar for a long time, and we’re part of the furniture here. Our office isn't much to look at, just a small space with some old wooden desks and chairs that have been around since we started. We handle a lot of the exporting tasks for the local trade. It’s a lot of physical paperwork and dealing with transporters who are constantly coming in and out. The streets are narrow and usually blocked by trucks, so getting anything moved takes a bit of patience. We usually spend our mornings catching up on the messages and our afternoons dealing with the logistics of moving goods out. There’s no air conditioning here, just a couple of ceiling fans that struggle against the heat. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the other traders about the market prices. It’s a traditional way of doing business, face to face and with a lot of handshakes. We don't need fancy websites or big ads to keep going. People know where we are and they know we’ve been here for years. It is a bit messy, but it works.
