Mayur Plastic Industries

Our place is Plot No. 152 in the Chitra Gidc area. If you come by, you’ll probably see bags of plastic granules stacked up by the entrance. We’ve been running this plastic business for quite some time now, and the machines have become like old friends, even the ones that are a bit temperamental. The heat from the injection molders is constant, so we keep the big shutters open most of the day to get a breeze. Chitra Gidc is a tough place to work sometimes, with all the dust and the heavy traffic, but it’s where all the action is. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we’re just making plastic goods that people need. Our staff knows the routine inside out—loading the hoppers, checking the molds, and packing the finished items into sacks. It’s repetitive, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing the pile of finished goods grow by the end of the shift. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. If someone wants to buy from us, they just show up or give us a call on the landline. The floors are usually covered in a bit of plastic scrap, no matter how much we sweep. It’s a working factory, not a showroom. We just focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the electricity bill doesn't get too high. That’s pretty much the whole story of Mayur Plastic and how we spend our days.
