Mayur Handicrafts

We've been here at 35/B in Devbag for a while now. It's a small place, mostly just us working on different items throughout the day. People sometimes ask how we got started, and honestly, it was just a hobby that turned into a job because we liked making things by hand. The workshop gets a bit dusty, and there's usually a lot of stuff piled up on the tables, but that's how we work. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything. It's just a space where we handle the wood and materials. Some days are busier than others. If you come by, you might see us in the middle of a project, probably drinking tea. We try to keep things simple here at Mayur Handicrafts. My cousin helps out with the packing when we have orders to send out. It isn't a huge operation, just a few of us making sure things get done right. Devbag is a quiet enough area, which suits us fine for this kind of work. We mostly just focus on the pieces in front of us. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just wait it out and start again. It’s not always perfect, but we like what we do. We've lived in this neighborhood forever, so most people around here know where to find us if they need something specific made. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. It's just a regular day-to-day business for our family.
